16MnCr5是从德国引进的钢种，相当于我国16CrMnH钢(参照GB/T 5216-2004)，有较好的淬透性和切削性，对较大截面零件，热处理后能得到较高表面硬度和耐磨性，低温冲击韧度也较高。16MnCr5齿轮钢经渗碳淬火后使用，主要用于制造齿轮、蜗杆、密封轴套等零部件。
用途：制造齿轮、蜗杆、塑料模具、汽轮机油封和汽油套等。

钢坯回跌20，涨价又是一日游？
在连续四个交易日强势反弹后，今日市场短暂震荡修正，大盘在3300点之下小幅震荡。与之相比，中小创的冲锋势头也有所放缓。从目前来看，连续大涨之后，市场有震荡歇脚的需要，短期料将震荡整固。截至收盘，上证综指报收3293.23点，上涨5.57点，涨幅为0.17%；深证成指报收11042.13点，上涨80.77点，涨幅为0.74%；沪深两市成交额为7663.61亿元。
期货方面，螺纹1601周二小幅下跌，开盘1848，盘中空头增仓打压，期价承压走低，最低1820，终盘报收1838元/吨，比昨结跌16跌幅0.86%，日增仓7.98万余手。短期内螺纹钢仍延续震荡态势。铁矿I1601合约也小幅下跌，开盘379.5，盘中空头积极增仓打压，抛压增大、部分空头减仓，做多资金支撑力度小幅增加，多空分歧加大，终盘报收376.5元/吨，跌6.5元/吨比昨结跌1.7%，日增仓4.72余万手，短期弱势震荡调整。
钢市现货方面，今日国内建材价格仍持稳为主，主导城市北京、上海仍维稳盘整，部分地区小幅上涨，合肥、福州、南宁、广州、长沙、武汉、郑州、天津、太原、重庆、成都、柳州、桂林及乌鲁木齐市场价格上涨10-30元/吨，上涨城市有所增多，杭州及昆明市场价格下跌20-50元/吨。周末钢坯拉涨，带动现货市场情绪，下游采购量有所增多报价跟涨，带动昨日部分地区小幅上涨，今日跟进上涨的城市增多，全国61个主要城市螺纹钢价格，上涨城市12个，占比20%；下跌城市4个，占比7%；持平城市45个，占比73%。但涨后均出现需求跟进乏力的现象，成交回归弱势，市价继续上调动能不足，回稳观望者多。
钢坯方面，受唐山本地成品材成交偏弱影响，钢坯成交量也出现下滑，午后方坯下跌20，报1660元/吨。现货市场的需求又一次上演了一日游，钢价似乎又要回落到弱势盘整的轨道。不过钢价也并非就要立即转入下跌，由于当前钢价过低，使得厂家亏损增多，以及资金链紧张，高炉停产，轧线检修日渐增多，且钢厂也出现新的检修潮，唐山钢坯市场高炉停产规模扩大，鑫达六座停产两座，兴隆停产三座，荣信停产一座。另据报导，前日(10月11)14时30分左右，唐山国丰钢铁有限公司第一炼铁厂辅助车间1名工人在对油箱进行焊接作业时爆炸起火，将其烧伤，经送医院抢救无效死亡，近期唐山钢厂或有整顿，对生产作业有小幅影响，短期能起到一定支撑作用，近期钢价仍将维稳盘整。
消息面上，据海关快报，中国9月铁矿砂及其精矿进口8612万吨，8月为7412万吨，环比增15.62%；中国9月进口钢材101万吨，8月为102万吨，环比减0.98%；中国9月出口钢材1125万吨，8月为973万吨，环比增16.19%，当月出口均价为504.7美元/吨，为2004年2月以来新低，同比下跌31.7%，环比下跌4.8%。钢材单月出口数量创下历史新高。1-8月我国累计出口钢材8311万吨，同比增长27.2%；1-9月我国累计进口钢材973万吨，同比下降11.6%；1-9月我国累计进口铁矿石69905万吨，较去年同期持平；9月铁矿石进口均价59.59美元/吨，环比下降2.65%。钢材出口量继续创新高，也证明了国内钢铁产能过剩严重，钢厂不得不向海外谋求更多出路。而铁矿石进口继续大增，也证明国内钢厂高炉开工率不减，即时顶着亏损，也不愿意率先减产停炉。但随着供需矛盾日益严重，钢价将继续下跌，市场或将倒逼部分钢厂停产，从而真正实现钢铁业去产能。
